Bob and Pete's Photos:

Bob Knapp and Peter Sondervan are volunteer firefighters from Oakland New Jersey.  They went to ground zero to lend a hand.  They were gratious enough to lend me their pictures for this site.  Some of these picture are truly dramatic especially the picture of the American flag waving above the NYC firefighters that I used for my home page.  Pete was responsible for that photo.  It  was a time I imagine neither one will forget. I think these men epitomize what makes America great. The willingness to help their fellow man.  They demonstrated our spirit, our unity, our strength and quiet dignity.  Nobody can ever take that away.
